Sõru jahisadam

Sõru Yacht Harbour is a historic fishing harbour on Hiiumaa, located in Pärna küla. The marina has 45 berths for sailing boats and 5 spaces for campervans, with a maximum draft of 3.0 m, length 24 m and width 6 m at the entrance.

Pricing is based on boat length: up to 6 m costs €25 per night, up to 9 m €35, up to 12 m €40, up to 15 m €45, and over 15 m electricity is billed per meter reading plus €3.50/m. The price includes the berth, water, WC and shower facilities, waste disposal and electricity. A fixed-price 7-night visitor card is also available.

On site you'll find toilets, showers, drinking water, waste disposal, a pump-out service (€7), a washing machine and dryer, shore power at the berths, a slipway, wifi and bicycle rental. During summer the Esko baar is open, and there's a cosy café. The harbour is also home to the Sõru Museum, a maritime centre and a boat shed, and the Sõru Merekool offers sailing lessons for children and adults.

The marina is known as a venue for major cultural events, most notably the summer Sõru Jazz festival. Next to the harbour lies Estonia's largest surviving old ship, the three-masted motor sailboat "Ernst Jaakson" ("Alar"). Tie up at the quay, visit the museum, and enjoy a drink at Esko baar while Sõru Jazz fills the harbour with music.
