About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Spaarneborghhaven is a small, rural marina in Heemstede, located right before the first bridge on the Spaarne river as seen from the south heading toward Haarlem. The marina is well known among many sailors and is a popular stopover on the standing mast route. The marina has 25 berths.
Right next to the marina you'll find a good Chinese restaurant. It's a 15-minute walk to the centre of Heemstede, while Museum de Cruquius and the popular Schalkwijk shopping centre are within cycling distance. There's a bus stop 300 metres from the marina, a shopping centre 1100 metres away, and a market every Wednesday 1400 metres from the marina. The Cruquius Museum is 2300 metres away.
Tie up in the peaceful Spaarneborghhaven and enjoy a Chinese dinner right by the boats before cycling on to Museum de Cruquius or Schalkwijk.
