About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026

Yacht Club St. Goar runs a berthing facility with a club ship on the Rhine, about 1.2 km downstream from the Stadthafen, outside the town centre of St. Goar, at the end of "Hafen Hunt". The marina lies between Lahnstein and Bingen and offers a quieter alternative to a berth in the middle of town, with space for boats up to 14 metres in length.

At the entrance there is a sandbank, which is partially dredged at irregular intervals; sail carefully and keep to the left when entering and to the right when leaving. The marina has both guest and permanent berths for boats up to 14 metres, for a short visit or for the whole season.

The marina highlights a well-kept water sports facility with a sun island and beach chairs for relaxing.

The marina lies in the Middle Rhine Valley, a World Heritage site near the Loreley.
