Sportboothafen Calvörde

Sportboothafen Calvörde is located directly on the Mittelland Canal at kilometre 286.6, northwest of Magdeburg and bordering the Altmarkkreis Salzwedel district, surrounded by the Drömling, the Colbitz-Letzlinger Heide and the Flechtinger Höhenzug. The marina is run on a volunteer basis by Wassersportfreunde Flecken Calvörde e.V. and offers 24 berths for motorboats and sailboats plus 12 pitches for motorhomes/caravans; tent camping is also possible on the marina grounds.

The nominal water depth is 2.00 m, though it may vary temporarily due to commercial shipping traffic. Every berth and pitch has a power connection, and there is a facility for pumping out black- and grey-water tanks.

The marina has two sanitary containers with toilets and showers with no time limit, wifi, a service-water connection, an outdoor washing-up sink with hot water, and bins for waste, recyclables and paper. Power, water, wifi, emptying of caravan/motorhome cassette toilets, and use of the sanitary facilities are all included in the berth/pitch fee. A free barbecue area is available to all guests.

Shopping in Calvörde can be reached comfortably on foot or by bicycle from the marina. Tie up on the Mittelland Canal and walk or cycle into Calvörde for supplies.
