About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026

Sportboothafen Weener lies on the River Ems in the officially recognised resort town of Weener, right next to the heated outdoor pool and the campsite that borders the harbour.

No figures are given for entry depth, berth depth or a VHF channel for the marina itself, but adjoining it is a motorhome stopover with 24 pitches (12 of 8 m and 12 of 6 m) available from 1 April to 30 September; the daily fee is €11 without electricity or €15 with electricity.

At the harbour there is a sanitary building with a disabled toilet open from 7am to 10pm, while the other toilets and showers can only be used with a key from the harbour master; a shower costs €2 per day. There is a facility for fresh water and waste disposal: fresh water costs 10 litres for 10 cents or 100 litres for €1, and waste disposal is free of charge. Electricity can be added to the pitches, and an adventure playground for children is right nearby.

From the harbour it is barely a ten-minute walk to Weener's town centre with bakeries and supermarkets, and sights such as the Organeum and the Heimatmuseum can be reached on foot or by bike via the well-signposted cycle network. Tie up at Sportboothafen and stroll the short distance to the outdoor pool and the town's cosy centre.
