Sportboothafen Wipfeld

Sportboothafen Wipfeld am Main is the small sister marina to 1. MYC Nürnberg's club harbour, located at Main kilometre 316.7 in the wine village of Wipfeld in Franconia. The marina has 36 water berths with a maximum draft of 1.20 m and is open from April to October.

The marina offers guest berths along with water and electricity supply at the pontoons. There is a slipway for launching, plus a water-ski jetty with an associated water-ski course.

On site you'll find sanitary facilities with toilets and showers, a clubhouse and wifi. The Gaststätte Mainterrassen restaurant is right next to the marina, and the village itself has a bank, bakery and several inns. Further shopping is available in the neighbouring village of Schwanfeld, while fuel can be found in Werneck and Schweinfurt.

The marina lies about 500 metres from Wipfeld's town centre, reached via the Main promenade, which is also part of the popular Maintal cycle route. Here you'll find welcoming inns with beer gardens, well-known vineyards and bakeries, as well as the nostalgic ferry. Hikes through the vineyards and bike tours to the wine villages of Volkach, Escherndorf, Nordheim and Sommerach make for great excursions. Würzburg and Schweinfurt are the nearest larger cities. Tie up at this idyllic marina and stroll the 500 metres into Wipfeld's half-timbered lanes and wine taverns.
