Stadthafen Malchow

Stadthafen Malchow is a town harbour in the southern part of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, in the small island town of Malchow on the Malchower See, between Fleesensee and Plauer See. The harbour has 35 berths for motor boats, sailing boats and houseboats and lies right next to the well-known Malchow swing bridge, where around 20,000 boats pass each year at the narrowest point between Müritz and Plauer See.

Malchow is easily reached via the B192 road and the A19 motorway, with connections onward to the A20 and A24, and it is only a 60-minute drive to Rostock and the Baltic coast. The Mecklenburg southern railway has a stop, „Inselstadt Malchow“, close to the town centre.

Right next to the harbour you'll find shops, banks, pharmacies, cafés and restaurants, and behind the harbour stand three holiday houses – „Inselliebe“, „Hafenresidenz“ and „Hafenblick“ – where guests can moor their own motor or sailing boat directly in front of the house.

Malchow also offers green spaces for walks and outdoor sport, plenty of opportunities for water sports, and well-known attractions such as the Affenwald with its summer toboggan run, the Bärenwald Müritz, and the annual Malchower Volksfest, part of UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage. Moor at Stadthafen Malchow and stroll the short distance into town for its cafés and shops.
