About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Nesodden Seilforening's guest marina lies on Persteila, part of the Steilene recreational area, facing the Nesoddlandet coast. There are normally at least 20 guest berths along the fixed timber jetties, on the north side of the floating breakwater and on the two floating pontoons, with free berths marked by green signs - at weekends there are often even more free spaces as resident boat owners head out on trips.
Depths in the harbour vary from 1.5 to 10 metres. The harbour is protected by a mole and a floating breakwater to the south, but is affected by wash from passing traffic and strong winds, requiring careful seamanlike mooring. Guest boats must not anchor, as the floating pontoons are held in place by moorings and ground lines that anchors can easily snag. The guest berth fee is NOK 295 for boats up to 29 feet, NOK 345 for 30-39 feet and NOK 395 for 40-49 feet; in the low season (November-March) the price is NOK 250 for boats up to 49 feet. The marina is not designed for boats of 50 feet or more. The fee is paid unprompted on arrival via Vipps and applies from 17:00, with electricity included.
Water and electricity are available at the jetties, which are lit in the evening. A public guest toilet is available in the long factory building, and waste is disposed of in containers at the pontoon outside the factory building. The clubhouse has a kiosk/café, said to serve particularly good waffles.
