About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Storön Gårdens guest berths are located on the island of Storön in Lake Vänern, a car-free idyll with scenic natural and cultural surroundings. The berths are run by the only permanent resident family on the island, who also keep sheep and other farm animals.
You can moor using your own anchor or to a free buoy, bow or stern to the pier end. For boats with a draught over 140 cm, a swing mooring buoy is available. Approach is between marked fairway beacons, and the berth is sheltered from southwesterly, westerly and northerly winds.
On site you'll find shore power, an ice cream kiosk, and a barbecue area. There are toilets and showers, and you can book a sauna or hot tub as well as overnight stays in a house with kitchen facilities.
Take a walk along the lovely paths on Storön, pet the sheep and other farm animals, or join a feeding round. Nearby there is a swimming jetty and sandy beach. Head out to Storön to experience the island's tranquility and animal life up close.
