About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Styrsö Sandvikshamnen is a combined fishing and leisure boat harbour on the northwest side of Styrsö island in the southern Gothenburg Archipelago, part of Styrsö Hamn. The harbour offers around 50 berths designed for guest boats, and private berths marked with a green sign can also be used by guests for at least one day. During periods with red/green signage, additional guest berths become available.
As a visitor you get access to toilets, showers, electricity and fresh water at the quay, plus pump-out for holding tanks and a recycling/waste station. Within the harbour area you'll also find Sandviks Marina, the Styrsö Sjömack fuel station with petrol and diesel, the chandlery Bommens Skeppshandel, and an ice cream kiosk. There is also a repair yard with a crane for smaller boats.
The harbour sits close to beautiful bathing spots, including the child-friendly Utterviken beach with cliffs and sand about 500 metres away, and rock bathing for adults right outside the harbour. It's within walking distance to the Styrsö Tången ICA grocery store, and from the harbour you can walk to the ferry terminal connecting to Gothenburg and Saltholmen. A sheltered barbecue area with a boules court, nature trails, a local museum and ancient grave sites are also within walking distance.
Moor up in Sandvikshamnen and enjoy island life with swimming, barbecue evenings and marine supplies right by the quay.
