About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Schweriner Segler-Verein 1894 runs a club marina with a water-touring stopover on Schweriner Innensee, just a short walk from Schwerin's old town. The marina offers over 40 sheltered guest berths with lovely lake views, most with electricity and water connections. Depth at the berths is 1.2-1.8 m, though only about 0.6 m at the fixed jetties in front of the boathouse. There is no restriction on the length or beam of visiting boats. The harbour office is open May-September, Tuesday to Saturday 08:00-18:00; outside the season by arrangement. If the office is unmanned, berthing fees can be posted through a letterbox in the entrance door. The marina is certified with the Yellow Wave and in 2005 became the first German club marina to receive three Blue Stars. On site you'll find toilets and showers in a pavilion alongside the harbour office, free wifi, a 1.9-tonne crane, a pump-out facility, a disposal point for chemical toilets, plus a washing machine and dryer (crane and pump-out available Tuesday-Saturday by arrangement only). There is also a dinghy slipway for launching. The club's landmark building, Seglerheim, houses a popular restaurant with a lake terrace. Berth at one of the more than 40 guest places overlooking Schweriner Innensee and stroll the short distance into Schwerin's old town, or enjoy a meal on Seglerheim's lakeside terrace.
