About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Jachthaven ’t Eibertsnest is located in De Westereen, in the heart of the Frisian woodlands, between Nationaal Park De Alde Feanen and Nationaal Park Lauwersmeer. The marina has 275 berths for boats up to 12 metres and also serves as a guest harbour (passantenhaven).
The site is secured with barriers and 24-hour camera surveillance, and staff are always present. Access to the site is by SEP card, which berth holders collect from the harbour office against a €50 deposit. All jetties have been renewed with an intermediate walkway running the full length of the boat, and there are power posts with coin slots on all jetties.
The marina has a modern sanitary building with underfloor heating, toilets and showers (coin-operated, €1 for 4 minutes), including a shower adapted for people with disabilities. There is also a washing machine and dryer, drinking-water taps, a pump-out station for holding tanks, and a fuel berth with diesel (HVO7 and HVO100) and petrol. For boat maintenance there are four self-service sheds, a slipway and a hydraulic boat trailer up to 25 tonnes, as well as boat paint and spare parts. Free wifi and shore power on the berths are also available, along with ample semi-paved parking.
Shops can be found 2 km from the marina, and free bicycle routes are on loan so you can explore the beautiful surroundings on foot or by bike. Moor at one of the 275 berths and enjoy the tranquillity and nature of the Frisian woodlands.
