About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Västra Sveavikens Hamnförening is a non-profit, member-owned boat club in Sveaviken in Djursholm, with its jetty located where Strandvägen turns into Skärviksvägen. The club was founded in 1983 and has 89 dock berths, 1 jet-ski berth and 12 swinging-mooring buoys.
This is not a guest marina – currently only members resident in Danderyd municipality are accepted, and the waiting list for a permanent berth can run to many years. Boats may be moored at the jetty from 1 April through 30 November.
Fresh water and power outlets for charging are available on the jetty. Note that holding tanks must not be pumped out in the harbour, out of consideration for those swimming in Sveaviken.
The jetty has no safety railings, precisely so that strollers and swimmers can also use it – so if you're nearby, feel free to take a walk along the water or have a dip by the jetty.
