About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Veerhaven is located in the heart of Rotterdam, in the atmospheric Scheepvaartkwartier, and is home to a fleet of historic sailing ships and classic yachts. The marina offers three types of berths: guest berths, winter berths, and permanent berths reserved for seagoing sailing vessels of historic character.
Visiting yachts are welcome all year round. There is no fixed layout in the sheltered basin right in front of the characteristic Bureau Veerhaven – it's best to register with the harbourmaster in advance, who will then assign you a berth. Winter berths are allocated for the period from 1 October to 1 April, for both classic ships and modern yachts.
Within a few minutes' walk you'll find museums, excellent restaurants and pleasant terraces, as well as Rotterdam's lively city centre, close to the marina in the Scheepvaartkwartier.
Moor in the sheltered basin by Bureau Veerhaven and walk the short distance into Rotterdam's historic quarter.
