Vikevåg gjestehavn

Vikevåg guest harbour lies on the town side of Vikevåg on Rennesøy, offering good shelter in northerly and westerly winds, though southerly winds can be felt a little. There is an outer guest harbour at Gamlekaien with good depth conditions, and a smaller, more sheltered guest harbour in the town centre where the water is SHALLOW and only suitable for smaller boats. Visiting yachts can also berth alongside the floating pontoon/breakwater.

The harbour is open and charges fees all year round. The 2024 rate is 200 NOK per night for boats up to 40 feet, 250 NOK for 40-50 feet, and 300 NOK for boats over 50 feet - with no extra charge for electricity use. Payment can be made by bank transfer, Vipps, or cash in an envelope at the clubhouse.

Electricity and water are available at all guest berths (water is shut off in winter), and there is good parking on the pier. The harbour also has a boat ramp for trailer boats and a kayak jetty for launching.

It is about 800 metres to the Prestvågen recreational area with a public beach, and a short distance to hiking areas on Rennesøy. Walking about 700 metres around to the east side of the harbour brings you to COOP EKSTRA, AMOS Pizza, a second-hand shop, and a hairdresser. Bus route 10 runs hourly from the quay into Stavanger city centre, taking about 45 minutes.
