Wifstavarfs Båtklubb runs a club marina in Klingerfjärden, in the northern part of Alnösundet, close to Timrå town centre. The club was founded in 1962 by a group of boating enthusiasts, and today it has room for around 100 boats spread across five piers, along with winter storage space.

As a visiting sailor you can moor at the guest berth, which has 5 spots, with the option of a buoy or anchorage available when the pier is full. The daily rate for a guest berth is 100 SEK.

The clubhouse offers toilets, showers and a laundry room, while the piers provide electricity and fresh water. The marina also has a slipway, a mast crane and a diesel fuel pump at the slip, plus a pump-out station for boat toilets that is free of charge for all boat owners to use.

Right next to the clubhouse lies the old industrial community of Wifstavarv, with roots dating back to the 1800s, where you'll also find a local museum. It's about 1.9 km to Timrå town centre — roughly a 20-minute walk or a 7-minute bike ride. Note that there is no bus connection to or from the harbour. Moor in this historic harbour and explore the old industrial heritage while your boat rests safely at the dock.
