About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Wassersport Verein Schierstein 1921 e.V. is a sailing and motorboat club with its own piers in Schiersteiner Hafen on the Rhine at Wiesbaden. The club has two piers: Steg 1 on the west side, used mainly by motorboats, and Steg 2 on the east side, used mainly by sailboats.
Berths are only allocated to members, so no guest berths, prices or depths for visiting boaters are stated.
At the pier next to the fire brigade's boat, roughly in the middle of the harbour's north shore, the club runs a central pump-out station for holding tanks. It can be used free of charge by all berth holders in the harbour and by guests. Between the canoe pier and Steg 2 lies the club's slipway, suitable for launching and hauling dinghies by hand as well as smaller keelboats with a suitable vehicle; use is at the owner's own risk.
If you simply need to pump out your holding tank while passing along the Rhine, pull in at the club's station in the middle of the north shore of Schiersteiner Hafen and use it free of charge.
