Wassersportgemeinschaft Wittenberg 1962 e. V. (Campingmöglichkeit)

Wassersportgemeinschaft Wittenberg 1962 e.V. is located on the Elbe, at kilometre 213 on the right bank, in Lutherstadt Wittenberg. The club has three sections - sailing, canoeing and motorboating - and the motorboat section runs the lowest of the three jetties, with guest berths for boats up to 8 metres; as a rule at least the outermost berth is available. The approach requires care at low water levels, and boats should stay close to the jetty and avoid the anchor marked by a yellow buoy in line with the jetty. Reservations are made via the Boatpark app, otherwise through the boathouse duty staff, present daily around 17:00-18:00. Guests can use toilets and showers, drinking water from any tap, and there is a shared kitchen facility. There is a slipway with a winch up to 2.5 tonnes, which guests may also use by prior arrangement, plus parking for cars and boat trailers within the enclosed grounds. Two loan bicycles are available, and electricity and waste disposal are arranged through the boathouse duty staff. Two simple guest rooms as well as tent and caravan/motorhome pitches with shower and toilet are also offered, though without wastewater disposal. Wittenberg's town centre is about 1.5 km, a 20-minute walk away, the railway station about 1 km, a Netto supermarket about 2 km, and a filling station about 2.4 km along the B187 towards Jessen. Moor at the outermost guest berth and take the short walk into Wittenberg's charming old town.
