About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026

Wasserwanderrastplatz Stolpe an der Peene is a current-protected marina and houseboat harbour in the heart of the Peenetal nature park, with a 2,000 m² harbour basin and 28 berths for houseboats and motorboats along two large floating pontoons with finger jetties. Two smaller floating pontoons sit right by the slipway for canoes and kayaks. The pontoons are lit at night and offer shore power (100% green energy) and water.

The slipway is wide enough for trailerable boats to launch or be hauled out too, and the floating pontoons always adjust to the water level of the Peene, making boarding easy regardless of the river level.

The sanitary building has toilets, showers, a washing-up room, plus a washing machine and dryer. The marina offers waste disposal, free wifi and a mini-shop, and card payment is accepted. The harbour's own snack bar sells fresh morning rolls, fish sandwiches, freshly tapped beer, coffee, cake and soft-serve ice cream.

Right next door is the restaurant Fährkrug at Gutshaus Stolpe, and the village of Stolpe offers ruined monastery buildings, a nature park centre, an old blacksmith's forge and a beekeeping museum. A small chain ferry links both banks of the Peene. Tie up at the pontoon and walk straight up to the harbour snack bar or on to the Fährkrug.
