About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Watersportvereniging Waalwijk is located in Jachthaven De Langstraat in Waspik (municipality of Waalwijk), with views over Nationaal Park De Biesbosch.
The marina has lighting across the harbour area and pontoons, and the site is enclosed by fencing with a code-locked access gate.
Each berth has electricity (10 A) and fresh water, along with rescue and fire-fighting equipment. Free wifi is available throughout the marina, as well as showers and toilets, and a disposal point for chemical toilets. There is a washing machine, costing €5.00 per use. The marina also has a limited number of loan bicycles, free to use. Waste is sorted into underground containers for glass, paper and general waste, and the harbourmaster can take oil and bilge water in jerrycans from visiting sailors - though the marina does not yet have a pump-out facility for waste and bilge water.
The marina is an ideal base for trips to Nationaal Park De Biesbosch and for day trips in Midden-Brabant, including the Efteling theme park and the scenic Loonse en Drunense Duinen. The pleasant, newly renovated centre of Waalwijk with its Schoenkwartier is also within reach. Moor up at one of the pontoons and make use of the power and water on offer while you explore the Biesbosch and Waalwijk's town centre.
