WSV De Ouwe Helling

W.S.V. de Ouwe Helling is a friendly marina in Amsterdam Noord, situated on the broad Christesloot, which flows like a small river, with open polder landscape on the opposite bank. The marina lies along the Noordhollandsch Kanaal, making it an ideal starting point for a day's sailing into Amsterdam's canals or a peaceful trip through the beautiful polders of Noord Holland.

Guest berths are welcome, and the marina always keeps a number of boxes free. The fixed bridge from the Noordhollandskanaal into the Ouwe Helling has a clearance of approximately 2.45 metres.

The marina offers electricity, drinking water and free wifi at the berths. From spring 2016 there are two new sanitary buildings with showers and toilets, plus a Primagaz service point. The yard has a crane with certified slings that lift boats onto stands, and stands are available; small console boats can be launched and hauled out by forklift for €25 from April to October (excluding storage costs and by arrangement with the harbourmaster).

Tie up at one of the free boxes on the Christesloot and use the marina as a base for a trip into Amsterdam's canals or out into the polder landscape of Noord Holland.
