About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026WSV de Zuiderzee is a club marina on the Noorder IJ Dijk in Schellingwoude, right next to the Oranjesluizen locks, which connect the Markermeer to the IJ.
Guest sailors are warmly welcomed to this idyllic marina, from which a trip into Amsterdam is also easily possible.
On the pontoons there are water points with and without hoses, as well as shore power connections (6 amps), and the pontoons are lit in the evenings. Sanitary facilities include a ladies' and a gents' toilet plus a shower room; the toilets are free to use, while the shower requires a 50-cent coin for hot water. At the Noorder-IJdijk the club has a container where guests can dispose of household waste. Wifi is available in the marina at no extra cost to guests, though reception is not guaranteed, and downloading large files such as films is not allowed. The marina also has a covered terrace, known as 'de tent', which guests may also use - though barbecuing or any open fire is not permitted, and bicycles must be parked in the racks provided outside.
Tie up at the pontoon, top up your water and shore power, and take a stroll through idyllic Schellingwoude - or continue on into Amsterdam.
