WSV Hanssum

WSV Hanssum is a club-run marina at the mouth of the Neerbeek in the Maas, centrally located between Roermond and Venlo. The marina has around 100 berths and a spacious guest harbour, plus 12 overnight pitches for motorhomes.

Guest berths lie along an open grass field with views over the harbour and partly over the Maas, and all berths have water and shore power. Pricing for yachts is a starting fee of €3 plus €1.35 per metre per night, while motorhomes pay €16.50 per night including electricity; a tourist tax of €1.50 per person per night is added. Payment is made via the i-Marina app, and advance booking is not possible.

In the cosy clubhouse, guests and motorhome visitors are welcome for a drink whenever members are present, and there are toilets and showers activated by coin machine. A pump-out point for chemical toilets is located in front of the clubhouse, free wifi is available (code from the harbourmaster), and the marina has a slipway and a crane spot.

One kilometre away lies the village of Neer, with a brewery and a historic watermill among its sights, and the surrounding area offers fine views over the Maas and Neerbeek. Tie up at the guest berth by the grass field and take the short walk into Neer to explore its historic village centre.
