About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026WSV Karolinenhof e.V. is a watersports club with a boathouse on the western shore of Langer See in Karolinenhof, the picturesque villa colony in the Köpenicker Forst between Grünau and Schmöckwitz. Around 80 members, mostly families, use the club for sailing, canoeing, rowing and SUP. There are water berths of various sizes as well as dry stands on the waterfront for sailing and motor boats, plus indoor storage for canoes.
The club is happy to help launch or haul out your boat via its slipway, but requires a signed liability waiver and proof of valid boat insurance.
Toilets and showers with hot and cold water are available and have been modernised. There are cosy common rooms and a modern shared kitchen for members and guests, and touring canoeists are welcome to pitch their tents in the club garden. From the two lakeside terraces you can enjoy the view over the water as the sun sets behind the Müggelberge hills.
Karolinenhof is connected via tram line 68 (Schmöckwitz–Grünauer Uferbahn) to S-Bahnhof Grünau and S-Bahnhof Köpenick. From the Schappachstraße stop it is just a few minutes' walk to the club grounds.
