About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Yachtclub Hansa Harburg is located on Schlossinsel in the historic Harburger Binnenhafen, right in the middle of the winter harbour. The marina has room for about 50 member and guest boats, with a water depth of 3.50 metres and space for boats up to 18 metres in length.
The harbour is tide-free and sheltered behind the round-the-clock manned Harburger Hafenschleuse, and can be reached from the sea with the mast standing. Guest berths are allocated by the harbourmaster, and a club member is usually present at weekends and often on weekdays too; otherwise berthing fees are placed in the mailbox at the harbourmaster's hut, which also has an information board.
Ashore, the club offers sanitary facilities in the clubhouse for members and guests. Shore power is available at the pontoons for charging batteries and small repairs, though limited to about 2000 watts per connection. The club's mast crane makes this one of the last places to unstep the mast before continuing further up the Oberelbe.
From the harbour there are good opportunities to explore Hamburg by S-Bahn, without needing to berth in the busier Hamburger Sportboothafen. Tie up at the guest berth and take the S-Bahn into central Hamburg.
