About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026

Yachtclub Ruhrland Essen runs one of only two marinas on Lake Baldeney and has water berths for more than 100 boats. The clubhouse sits on the harbour mole with a large terrace offering views of spectacular sunsets.

A modern crane lets members launch and haul out their boats independently of the boatyard, a valuable benefit for the club's many racing sailors. Next to the marina there is a boatyard and a chandlery selling clothing, maritime fashion, footwear and sturdy boat accessories.

Numerous parking spaces are available for cars in front of the clubhouse.

Berth at the club's crane to launch your own boat, then enjoy the sunset from the clubhouse's spacious terrace.
