About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Yachthafen Bünting is a privately run sailing club marina on the Zwischenahner Meer, Lower Saxony's third-largest inland lake, right in the well-known spa town of Bad Zwischenahn. The marina has been operating for 50 years and offers around 400 berths in the water and on land, spread across two basins lined with tall poplars. Boats here range from Optimist dinghies and catamarans to larger cabin cruisers such as the Dehler and Dehlya 25.
The marina has a sheltered basin, a shallow slipway for dinghies and catamarans, and a crane for launching boats. There is an outer jetty on a small peninsula with a grassy area for relaxing. Note that the Zwischenahner Meer may only be navigated with a permanent berth and a valid permit sticker, and motorboats are not allowed on the lake. From October to March a winter navigation ban applies, and all craft must leave the lake.
The marina has a toilet building and parking within the fenced marina grounds. The boathouse features a panoramic terrace overlooking the marina.
The marina is centrally located in Bad Zwischenahn, close to the town centre. Berth in the sheltered harbour and enjoy the view from the boathouse terrace with the town right on your doorstep.
