About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026

Yachthafen KranenCamp is a family-friendly marina at the KranenCamp campsite in Senden in the Münsterland region, connected to the Dortmund-Ems Canal (km 46.6) via the old side channel „Alte Fahrt”. The marina is divided into an outer harbour with 14 berths for boats up to 13 m and an inner harbour with about 30 berths for boats up to 8.5 m, totalling around 44 berths, of which normally 6-8 guest berths are available. The marina has been awarded the DMYV „maritim” quality seal.

An overnight stay costs from €7.00 for boats up to 5 m in length, plus €1.50 per additional metre and €1.00 per person; there is also a slipway fee of €10.00, and electricity is billed separately with a base fee of €3.00/day plus €0.60/kWh. There is a slipway for boats up to 7.50 m.

At the marina you'll find fresh water and shore power at the berths, showers (with a shower token), a washing machine and dryer, and bike rental. The bistro with beer garden sits right by the marina and is a great spot for a break or an overnight stay in a tent, cabin or mobile home.

The surroundings offer the popular and well-signposted „100-Schlösser-Route” cycle route (southern course) as well as proximity to Burg Vischering in Lüdinghausen. Moor in the calm old canal arm, where swimming is also easy, and stop by the bistro with beer garden.
