Yachthafen Ludwigshafen

Yachthafen Ludwigshafen on Lake Constance is a sturdy pile-built marina with three piers and breakwaters out in the lake, well suited as a shelter harbour. The marina covers about 3,400 sqm and has 111 berths. Ashore, access is via ladders and concrete walls, with dinghy storage and parking at the marina.

Guest berths must be arranged with the harbourmaster, based in the new harbourmaster building at the west pier. The overnight rate starts from 20 euros for boats up to 3 m beam, 25 euros up to 3.5 m and 30 euros above that; stays longer than three nights cost 30, 35 and 40 euros respectively. The price includes 2 people, use of showers, the dishwashing area on the platform, electricity, drinking water and use of the pump-out facility.

The marina offers toilets and new sanitary facilities with showers, a disposal point for portable toilets, a waste station and pump-out. Electricity and drinking water are available at all piers. There is a mast crane (100 kg) and a slipway in the western basin - though the slipway is reserved for club members and regatta guests. A grill area can be booked through the harbourmaster.

Right by the marina you'll find the 'Adler' beach hotel, the Italian restaurant 'Aquarama' and the beautifully situated 'Hafenmauer' kiosk. Ludwigshafen also has the restaurant 'Rosmarin', and near the railway station there's the 'Ludwigs Häfele' kiosk. A walk to the Haldenhof viewpoint and restaurant is about 4.5 km (you can take the bus back from Sipplingen).
