About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Yachthafen Schaprode is a guest-friendly marina on the west coast of Rügen, where the waters meet Hiddensee. The marina has 220 berths on modern floating pontoons for both permanent berth holders and visiting yachtsmen.
The approach runs via the green-red fairway buoy 27/N2 on the channel towards Hiddensee to the buoy pair Sch 1/Sch 4, then on a true course of 87° and further on a true course of 161° in the marked channel. Note: there are rocks outside the marked channel. The fuel station (petrol and HVO100) is open Monday to Sunday 8-11 and 15-18. Day visitors pay from €10.00 for boats up to 7 metres, €15.00 for 7-11 metres and €25.00 for 11-19 metres; in the off-season (31 Oct-30 Apr) the price is calculated by length and width at €20 per metre. Using the slipway costs €5 for day visitors.
At the pontoons there is electricity and water directly at the berths, and the marina has modern sanitary facilities with showers and a washing machine as well as waste disposal. The marina also has a slipway and a boat crane. Two eateries are located right at the harbour offering regional specialities from the local coastal fishermen, and at Schillings Hofladen you can buy regional produce. There are two guarded car parks for guests - one at the harbour with an automatic barrier and one at the entrance to the village with staff, plus a harbour shuttle to and from your car.
