About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Yachthafen Schwerin is run by the Schweriner Segler-Verein von 1894 and lies on the Schweriner Innensee, close to the former Bundesgartenschau grounds, with just a short walk to Schwerin's old town. The marina is reached by land via the entrance to the education ministry's car park (Marstall) on Werderstraße.
The marina offers over 40 sheltered guest berths with electricity and, for most, a water connection and a lovely view over the lake. Water depth at the berths ranges from 1.20 to 1.80 m, though only about 0.6 m at the fixed piers in front of the boathouse. There is no restriction on the length or beam of guest boats. The harbour office is open May-September, Tuesday to Saturday 8am-6pm, and by arrangement outside the season; guest fees can be dropped in a letterbox at the office door if it is closed. The rate is €2.50 per metre per night including 4 people, and the crane and sewage pump-out can only be used Tuesday-Saturday by arrangement.
The marina has toilets and showers in a shared pavilion together with the harbour office, a 1.9-tonne crane, a sewage pump-out facility plus disposal for chemical toilet contents, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Shore power is available on the piers, drinking water at most berths, and free wifi throughout the harbour area.
Seglerheim, the marina's landmark building, houses a popular public restaurant with a lake terrace as well as guest rooms. Schwerin's old town is just a short walk from the marina.
