About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026The marina lies in the heart of Wolfsburg on the north bank of the Mittellandkanal, at kilometre 246.0. It has 48 permanent berths, and the club always keeps some spaces free for guest boats passing through.
The entrance is 8 metres wide - watch out for passing ships, as their wake creates considerable current in the entrance and basin. Coming from the west, note the short speed limit zone where checks are often carried out. Access through the pedestrian gate requires a code, which you get from the harbourmaster.
At the marina you'll find shore power and water at the berths, pump-out for holding tanks, a slipway, a mast crane (a mobile crane can be ordered), a clubhouse with wifi, toilets and showers, and a washing machine/dryer. Restaurant Santorini is right at the marina in the clubhouse, serving an extensive Greek menu - enjoy your meal with a view of your own boat.
The marina sits directly opposite the Volkswagen Arena, and it's about a 20-minute walk to the main railway station via the pedestrian bridge to Autostadt. The city offers Autostadt, the car museum, the art museum, Phaeno, the planetarium, Schloss Wolfsburg and a well-stocked outlet centre. In Allerpark you'll find BadeLand, a water-ski facility, several beaches and a lovely park - plan for several days if you want to explore it all. A fuel station and supermarket are about 1.3 km from the marina.
