About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026ACI Marina Cres is a large, well-equipped marina that lies in a deep and sheltered bay in the southern part of Cres harbour on the western coast of the island of Cres in the Kvarner region, just a few minutes' walk from the centre of Cres. The marina has 440 berths spread over nine jetties, plus an additional 70 dry berths, and mega-yachts up to 50 m long can also berth here. It has been awarded the "Tourist Flower" prize for best marina on the Adriatic, the Blue Flag, the 2020 "Golden Anchor" award, and further recognitions for staff kindness and best amenities offer.
Cres harbour is approached through a 400m-wide channel, with the lighthouses on Cape Kovačine and Cape Križice serving as landmarks on approach. The marina entrance itself is marked by a red light on the breakwater head and a green light on Martinski Islet, and the speed limit is 5 knots from Cape Kovačine to the marina and 2 knots within the marina.
The two sanitary buildings, located behind the restaurant, were renovated in 2007, and all berths have their own water and power supply. The fuel station is located just outside the harbour, in front of the breakwater, and the marina has a 10-tonne crane, an 80-tonne travel lift, a maintenance and repair workshop, and a 20 m mast-removal derrick.
