About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Arma di Taggia is a small tourist marina at the mouth of the Argentina river, built into the embanked quays at the river's mouth, with a single long quay in the basin on the left as you enter. The marina is run by the Circolo Nautico Arma on behalf of the Municipality of Taggia and offers berths for around 125 boats with a maximum length of 9.5 metres.
Entry must be made exactly along the centre of the approach channel at no more than 2 knots, and access is limited to between 08:00-12:00 and 14:00-18:00. The port monitors VHF channel 16. Depth alongside the quays ranges from 1.5 to 2.0 metres, with a sandy, gravelly bottom. Be aware that entry is discouraged in westerly or south-westerly winds with sea state force 4 or above, and there is a shoal in the middle of the channel.
Berths are equipped with electricity and water connections as well as toilets and showers. The marina has waste recycling facilities and wireless internet, plus a crane/travel lift and a slipway for launching smaller boats.
The marina is within walking distance of Arma di Taggia's sandy beach and seafront promenade, while Taggia's historic centre lies a few kilometres inland in the Argentina valley. A cycle path along the Riviera di Ponente passes nearby, and San Remo is just a few kilometres away. Berth here and enjoy both the beach life and the historic charm of the Ligurian coast right from the quay.
