Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Associação Náutica da Gafanha da Encarnação (ANGE) is a private sailing club and marina located on the Ria de Aveiro, in the parish of Gafanha da Encarnação, municipality of Ílhavo. The association was founded on 26 June 1989 and is organised as a non-profit association. The marina is situated next to the well-known "Cais da Bruxa" and is noted for its view over the Costa Nova beach.
ANGE's main purpose is to promote sailing and other water sports, with particular emphasis on training young sailors. Since January 2023 the association has been a member of the Estação Náutica network under the Ílhavo municipality, as well as the nationwide network of nautical stations in Portugal.
The facilities at the site are primarily reserved for members, although access may be granted to others in certain cases. A sailing school is also run at the location.
The marina lies close to Costa Nova and offers a notable view over the lagoon landscape, which visitors and sailors can enjoy from the harbour area.
