About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Sneeker Jachthaven is a long-established shareholder marina in Sneek, Friesland, founded in 1910, with 88 covered boat houses and just over 40 open berths for shareholders. Visiting yachts moor alongside the roughly 200-metre guest quay along the Oudvaart; the marina does not take bookings, so call the harbourmaster shortly before arrival to check availability. Berthing fees run from noon to noon the next day and are best paid by card or via i-Marina; the rate is €1.75 per metre without power and €2.00 per metre with power. The marina offers heated toilets and showers (renovated in 2023, with underfloor heating), shore power up to 10A, drinking water, wifi, waste containers for glass, paper and household refuse, and a slipway for small boats. At the Houkesloot, near the aqueduct, you can dispose of bilge, waste and toilet water free of charge. Right next to the marina you'll find a large free car park, boat rental, the 'It Rak' swimming and recreation pool, a tennis court and a deer park. Sneek's lively town centre with shops, restaurants and cafés is just a 5-10 minute walk away, with supermarkets only 5 minutes off. Tie up at the guest quay along the Oudvaart and stroll the short distance into Sneek's charming centre.
