Båssenden Båthavn is run by Båssenden Båtforening, established in 2007, and the marina is located at Framnesbrua in Ringsaker municipality close to Mjøsa Ferie- og Fritidssenter. The marina came about in connection with the new camping and caravan site by the bridge and is today part of the network of small boat harbours and guest harbours around Lake Mjøsa.

Every year around Midsummer (sankthans) Båssenden Båtforening joins Brumunddal båtforening in a shared boat procession starting at Jessnes and ending at Mjøsparken in Brumunddal, where an open-air concert is held at the same time. This makes the marina a natural starting point if you want to experience the local Midsummer celebration from the water.
