About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Brumunddal Småbåthavn is a guest harbour at the mouth of the river Brumunda into lake Mjøsa, in Ringsaker Municipality. The marina lies in the northern part of Furnesfjorden and forms part of the large recreational area Mjøsparken, making it easy to spot from a distance thanks to the landmark timber tower Mjøstårnet right next to it.
There are many guest berths, and the marina is set up for lying alongside and rafting up, while in the southern section it is also possible to combine anchoring with bow/stern mooring.
At the innermost part of the harbour you find both the guest berths and an unmanned, round-the-clock fuel station that opens in early summer once the water level is high enough and stays open until mid-October, where you can fill up with petrol and diesel using an ordinary bank card. Next to the fuel station there is also a free vacuum pump for emptying your boat's holding tank. There is a single water tap in the middle of the facility, along with shore power, a toilet, and a children's playground.
From here it is a short walk to Mjøsparken, offering a playground, petanque and basketball courts, a beach, a sensory garden, barbecue areas, and a landing point for the historic paddle steamer Skibladner. The Wood Hotel and the world's tallest timber building, Mjøstårnet, sit right next to the park, and a stone's throw away you'll find the indoor pool Mjøsbadet. Brumunddal town centre also offers a good selection of shops and restaurants.
