About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Käringsunds Gästhamn is a natural harbour in Käringsund in the municipality of Eckerö on Åland, Finland. The harbour lies in a sheltered bay and offers around 70 guest berths.
The entrance to Käringsund is marked by a small lighthouse and a sign, and the best route in passes the small reefs towards the little islet before turning towards the guest harbour jetty. All berths are buoy moorings, so you can choose whether the bow or stern faces the quay. Berths booked via Dockspot are located along the western side of the jetty, while alongside berths are found in the middle of the main jetty. The guest harbour is open from 30 April to 30 September, and the fee for drop-in guests is 42 euros per night. When you check in at the guest harbour, you and your crew also receive a free round trip with the Eckerölinjen ferry.
In this beautifully situated natural harbour you'll find electricity, water and WiFi at the jetty, plus a fully equipped service building with showers, toilets and a laundry room. On the rocky ledge above the guest jetty there is a barbecue area, and you can sort your waste at the harbour's recycling station.
Right next to the jetty is Gastropub Bodegan, which doubles as the harbour office and serves food, drinks, coffee and soft-serve ice cream - a pleasant spot to enjoy a cold beer or a three-course dinner after a day at sea.
