About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 30 September 2026Degersand is a small guest jetty on the island of Eckerö in western Åland. It is operated by the nearby holiday resort/campsite, about 350 metres away.
Mooring is with stern buoys; the north side of the jetty is intended for smaller boats, while the south side has room for larger yachts up to about eleven metres. There is neither electricity nor water at the jetty, and the modest overnight fee is paid at the campsite reception.
As a guest you may use the campsite's sanitary facilities, including toilet and shower. The area offers a restaurant with a large south-facing terrace and a beach bar, plus a café in the main building. There's a playground with play boats and swings, a wood-fired beach sauna for hire, parking, and wireless internet across the whole site.
Just a short walk from the jetty lies Degersand beach – a wide sandy beach that in 2014 was named the second best undiscovered beach in Europe by the British Metro and travel blog Beachtomato. Moor up at the buoys and step ashore to sand, sun, and a well-earned dinner on the terrace.
