About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Base de voile de Lauterbourg is a water sports centre at Plage des Mouettes in Lauterbourg, northern Alsace, located within the municipal campsite by a lake with a beach over 500 metres long.
This is not a traditional marina with guest berths, but rather an activity centre for sailing and other water sports on the lake, run by a local association affiliated with the French sailing federation.
On site you will find toilets, showers and a bar close to the facilities. There is parking for 30 vehicles, as well as play equipment such as a slide and a climbing wall for children. A small kiosk/snack bar sells refreshments and snacks.
From the centre you have access to a long sandy beach with supervised swimming in summer, plus activities such as catamarans, sailing dinghies, windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and pedal boats. Outdoor film screenings are also held on the beach during summer.
