About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026

Wyk auf Föhr's marina lies just a few minutes' walk from the town centre and is considered one of the most beautiful harbours on Schleswig-Holstein's west coast. The tidal range is around 2.9 metres, and the current off the entrance can reach up to two knots; the seabed consists of soft mud.

The harbour can normally be entered at any time with a draught of up to 1.2 metres. No advance reservation of guest berths is possible during high season. About 20 guest berths are located at the northern pontoon (Steg 1), while larger boats can moor at the new southern pontoon system (Steg 5). Other free berths not marked with an 'occupied' sign or clearly visible mooring lines may also be used by guests. Registration and payment of berthing fees are done online, and upon registration you receive an access code to the sanitary facilities. The harbour office at Hafendeich 17 is open Monday-Friday 8:00-12:00 and Monday-Thursday 14:00-16:00.

The harbour has sanitary facilities with toilets and showers, which guests can access via a code after registering.

Wyk auf Föhr has around 5,000 inhabitants and is the main town on the North Sea island of Föhr, located within the World Heritage Wadden Sea National Park, within walking distance of the harbour.
