About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Bojenfeld Gaienhofen is a mooring buoy field near the locality of Gundholzen, part of the municipality of Gaienhofen on the Untersee section of Lake Constance in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The field lies off the southwestern shore of the Zellersee and is administered by Gaienhofen's harbour authority under the municipal harbour regulations.
The buoys are located roughly 80-200 metres from a near-natural shoreline, in water depths of between 0.85 and 1.65 metres below the mean annual water level. The site is sheltered from local west and southwest winds by the Schienerberg hills behind it, while northwesterly winds strike the shore at an oblique angle. Berths in the buoy field can only be reached via the Andienungssteg (access jetty) at Gundholzen, and holders of a berth in the buoy field must, like the jetty berth holders, pay a construction cost contribution towards this access jetty.
If you hold a berth here, the shelter provided by the Schienerberg makes for a calm mooring on the Untersee.
