About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Bolmstad Båt & Hamnförening runs a small marina with 187 berths on Lake Bolmen, Sweden's 12th largest lake, about a 10-minute drive from Ljungby. The marina has berths ranging from 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 to 3.5 metres wide, and there is a green area by the harbour.
Guest berths are located on the northern part of the A pontoon, where you may stay for up to 24 hours. The A pontoon has power and water outlets as well as a pump-out station for the boat's toilet waste; ordinary household waste goes in the bins by the car park. Traffic within the marina must proceed at low speed, and there is good car parking, though not for trailers or motorhomes.
The clubhouse has a toilet, though it is reserved for members only; tap water in the marina may only be used as drinking water. The marina is also home to the restaurant Gästis Bolmstad, offering views over the lake and harbour with around 140 outdoor seats and 40 indoor seats.
Tie up at the northern part of the A pontoon and enjoy the view over Bolmen while dining at Gästis right next to the berth.
