About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 27 September 2026Bolter Kanal is a natural harbour in Müritz National Park, located near Boeker Mühle on the southeastern shore of Lake Müritz. It is considered one of the most atmospheric mooring spots in the area, where the former waterway to Berlin was cut off at Bolter Mühle, yet the place has retained its maritime, romantic charm.
Approaching the canal from Lake Müritz, you'll find a 300-metre fixed jetty to port, suitable for boats up to 4 metres wide and a maximum of 10 metres long - mooring is always alongside. The canal is 10-15 metres wide with a water depth of between 0.60 and a maximum of 1.10 metres. Around 20 guest berths are available, while the rear berths are reserved for charter boats. Booking is required, with arrival possible from 2 pm and departure by 11 am.
Two sanitary buildings with toilets and showers are located directly at the adjoining nature campsite, and there is shore power at the jetty along with freshwater and wastewater handling. Washing machines and dryers can be used in the holiday village's reception building, and there is also an engine and repair service plus pump-out facilities for chemical toilets. A kiosk/mini-market with provisions is available at the harbour, and the restaurant "Zum Seeadler" as well as a fish restaurant at Bolter Mühle offer refreshments. Parking for cars and trailers is available on the adjoining grounds.
