Seglerverein Rechlin

Segler-Hafen Rechlin is run by the Müritz-Segel-Verein Rechlin e.V. and lies on the eastern shore of the Kleine Müritz, where the waterway from the Müritz via the smaller lakes and the Havel towards Berlin begins. The marina has room for about 100 boats for day and permanent guests, and water depth varies by location between 0.5 and 2.5 metres. Boats up to 15 metres in length can moor, and the harbourmaster assigns berths on arrival; you can also book a berth in advance by phone. During the main season (May-September) the harbour is open Monday-Friday 08:00-12:00 and 15:00-19:00, and weekends 09:00-12:00 and 15:00-19:00, while reduced hours or access only by prior phone arrangement apply in October and over winter.

The marina offers modern sanitary facilities with a sufficient number of showers, and there is a slipway available by prior arrangement with the harbourmaster. Electricity and waste disposal are included in the service fee, which depends on boat length. Right in the clubhouse is the restaurant „Möwennest” with a large terrace serving regional specialities - with a free view of what is described as the most beautiful sunset north of the Danube.

In Rechlin and the surrounding area you'll find grocery and beverage shops as well as a well-stocked hobby shop carrying fishing and boating supplies. A general practitioner, a dentist and a pharmacy are also located in the town, and a large holiday park with cottages is found in Rechlin Nord by the Claassee.
