About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Boots-Sport-Club Weyhe e.V. is a boating club at Wieltdamm in Weyhe-Dreye, situated on the Wieltsee – a former gravel-pit lake connected to the River Weser, shared by five watersports clubs and one marina. The club's floating pontoons host numerous sailing and motor boats in a scenic setting, well sheltered from westerly and north-westerly winds.
By boat, the harbour lies about 6.5 river-kilometres upstream of the Hemelinger Schleuse at km 355, on the left bank of the Weser. The entrance to the lake is narrow but about 1.80 metres deep, at coordinates 53°00'720''N 008°54'065''E.
Electricity and fresh water are available at the pontoons, and the club operates its own crane facility for hauling out and launching boats. An elevated clubhouse, built to be flood-proof, offers wide views over the Weser and the surrounding waters and forms the hub of club life.
The site includes its own small bathing beach and plenty of space for adventurous exploration, making it especially appealing for children and families. Berth at the pontoons on the Wieltsee and enjoy the peaceful, scenic setting along the Weser.'.
