About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Breivik is a small boat harbour in the Storhaug district of Stavanger. The harbour is shared between two clubs, Østkanten Motorbåtforening and Seilforeningen 1928, an arrangement that came about after negotiations with the City of Stavanger in 1940. In 1970 the municipality took over the area, and Breivik was given status as a small-boat harbour.
The harbour lies just south of the Lervig Brygge residential area, from where a coastal footpath runs around the headland towards Godalen and the Strømvik sea bath. The stretch past Breivik forms part of the popular "Storhaug rundt" walking route through Stavanger's eastern districts.
