About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Bua hamn is a guest and fishing harbour in the old fishing village of Bua on the Halland coast, about 25 km from Varberg and 40 km from Kungsbacka, right by the North Sea. The marina offers permanent berths, guest berths and pitches for motorhomes.
The guest berth fee is 260 SEK per night including VAT, electricity, showers and pump-out, paid via Tallyweb or by scanning a QR code. Check-out is by 12:00. At the payment machine in the "Gateway" building (Info-Point) you also activate an electrical outlet by entering your code and selecting a free socket.
The service house by the boathouses has clean toilets, showers, a kitchen and a laundry (washing machine paid with 10 SEK coins). At the fuel berth you can refuel with diesel and petrol (98 octane) and empty your holding tank, and there is a recycling station for household waste, glass, metal, cardboard, plastic, newspapers and food waste. The marina also has a lifting crane, mast crane, a slipway and free parking behind the boathouses. Wi-Fi is included in the harbour fee.
Just a few minutes' walk away is Bua Center with a grocery store (ICA), hairdresser, pizzeria, pharmacy and library, plus the restaurant "Lollos" down by the harbour. Good bus connections run to both Varberg and Kungsbacka. Tie up at the guest berth, pay via Tallyweb, and stroll the short distance to Bua Center for a pizza or groceries.
