About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Christiansholm is Kristiansand municipality's guest harbor, a centrally located marina in a quiet park area right next to the historic Christiansholm Fortress – the marina is therefore also known as Christiansholm Marina. The harbor has about 200 berths on fixed and floating piers.
The guest harbor is open all year, and you can reach it on VHF channel 73 in July before arrival. The inner harbor behind the breakwater has a depth of 2-3 metres, becoming shallower right at the innermost point, while the outermost floating pier can be exposed to swell in rough weather. In the basin closest to the fortress there is free short-term mooring until 6 pm. Berths are designed for boats up to roughly 60-80 feet – for larger boats, contact Kristiansand Havn KF. The harbor fee starts from NOK 395 per night for boats up to 29 feet and increases with length; payment is made via the Marina Booking app or the machine at the service building, while power on several piers is paid the same way or by scanning a QR code.
The service building offers toilets, showers, a washing machine and dryer for those with a port ticket, and is open during the summer season. Wireless internet is available in the harbor. Enjoy food and refreshments at the summer restaurant '2 knop' or on Seilkroa's outdoor terrace, licensed to serve beer and wine. The municipality also notes a boat ramp at Christiansholm available for free use at your own risk.
